The word of God is what is is, The Question is Why Don't You Believe? If you can't accept it then just don't believe of follow his scriptures/word. God said to accept his word, not to add to nor take from it. That's why we must accept it as it is. When we read the scriptures, it actually has the meaning and explanation of what is being said. That's why the scriptures tell us to study to show ourselves approved, then another scripture says to read line by line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little. The bible is not a book where you can pick up and read with ease.
