Baroque guitar REBUILD CUT DOWN from 5inches to 3 7/8 inches sound demo Kapsberger lute canario

Hello, fellow tubers, and instrument builders.... I cut the guitar down from 5 inches thick to 3 and 7/8 inches thick........the sound is much better I think more balanced....it seems to have worked out so far....the Labella high tension strings are on it now...much better. .020 1st single .024 2nd unison .0285 3rd unison .022 octave-----.028 wound bourdon 4th course .028 un-wound 5th course unison hope this helps some otherbuilder, I had read that the thin body in this instruments actually improved the sound, greater projection louder, etc. but I wanted too try the thick sides first.... a modest success, that little noodle i was playing ( or trying to play) at the begining was by a guy named Kapsberger , " Canario " written in the 17th century sooo... cooool to try and play this stuff!!!!!! harpguitar and lute next
