Green Day - Welcome to Paradise // Clone Hero FULL BAND Custom Chart RELEASE
So I took on the liberty of charting Green Day's "Welcome to Paradise" from their album "Kerplunk!" (HAHA I bet you clicked on this thinking it was the Dookie version, didn't ya?). It was fun and hard, but here's what I got out of it: Now this one took me about 4 or 5 days to put together, but overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this chart. This song fluctuates between around 180 - 200 BPM randomly, so to compensate, I dragged a tempo marker at around every measure or two, or every riff. It worked pretty well for me. GUITAR: extremely easy as soon as I tempo-mapped the whole song. Knowing the actual notes/chords and their progression probably helped me a lot, but nonetheless, it wasn't hard. BASS: pretty easy, but I kind of cheated. I copy-pasted Harmonix's bass chart for the Dookie version of this song, and edited it to my liking (as well as lots of notes being different in this rendition of the song), such as adding open notes. VOCALS: extremely easy in Moonscraper nowadays. Gone are the days of using REAPER and EOF to chart vocals; now LyricAdder exists! All I had to do was get the timing of the words and phrases right, and then copy-paste the lyrics into LyricAdder, and then BOOM: I'm done! DRUMS: could use probably a tiny bit of work, considering I was mainly charting notes by memory (based on how I play it on real drums), and then going back afterwards to actually listen closely to what was happening.
