National City: Amazing Video I-805 Semi-Truck Fire 01102017
Address: 805 SB at Plaza Blvd, National City Agencies: NCFD, SDFD, NCPD. CHP Interviews: Driver Mr. Parra Dispatch Time: 2:00pm Driver stated a mattress flew off of the back of a truck, and he hit it. It got stuck under the Semi-truck, and he tried to moved to the shoulder but couldn't. He stopped, got out and the fire began. Fully engulfed, heavy smoke, several explosions, SIG ALERT for hours, traffic was backed up for over 10 miles at one point.
