Custom-Made Pouch for Bose Soundlink Micro Speaker (Torn / Broken Rubber Strap)
The "tear-resistant" rubber strap from my Bose Micro Soundlink Speaker was broken / torn. I found out online that several owners of the same speaker (Micro Soundlink Speaker) face the same issue - the plastic clip part on the rubber strap tear off. Whether Bose authorised service centre is willing to replace the rubber strap doesn't matter, because the same issue might happen again - rubber strap going to tear / break at anytime. A custom-made pouch, made of 'tactical bag' material, is designed and made to hold the Micro Soundlink Speaker and able to listen directly from the pouch holder. Notice the front cover, half of it is mesh cloth of tiny holes, so sound can travel out from the speaker. The velcro behind can be strapped onto bicycle , belt, bag sling or anywhere. If You already own a Bose Micro Soundlink Speaker, whether the rubber strap is still in proper condition or already torn / broken, it is best not to use it at all and get a pouch custom-made to carry the Speaker. The problems with the pouches for Micro Soundlink Speaker available at online shops are.. 1) they are designed to be kept when not listening , 2) the one pouch which can put the speaker inside and switch on the speaker for listening.. doesn't have a velcro strap behind This is why the one and only "tactical" Bose Pouch is designed and custom made for myself to be able to withstand the wear and tear from the outdoor sports and able to listen to music as per normal directly from the pouch.
