On 6 April 2023, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed #HB2322 - a bill introduced by Republican Representative Alexander Kolodin - LD3 and amended by Democratic Representative Laura Terech - LD4 (Katie Hobbs's local district.) This Bill would legally increase signature verification standards to the standard set by Katie Hobbs herself in the 2020 Signature Verification Guide that she created as Secretary of State. Despite passing out of the House on a bipartisan supermajority, Hobbs vetoed the Bill.
