2016 Infiniti Q70 - Heated Steering Wheel (if so equipped)

The heated steering wheel system is designed to operate only when the surface temperature of the steering wheel is below approximately 68 degrees. To warm the steering wheel, the ignition must be in the ON position. Push the heated steering wheel switch located on the lower instrument panel, to the left of the steering wheel. The indicator light will illuminate. If the surface temperature of the steering wheel is below 68 degrees, the system will heat the steering wheel and will turn OFF and ON to maintain a temperature above 68 degrees. Push the switch again to manually turn OFF the heated steering wheel. The indicator light will go off. If the surface temperature of the steering wheel is above 68 degrees when the switch is turned on, the system will not heat the steering wheel. This is not a malfunction. Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations and additional operating information. "
