3D Printing - Themed Entertainment SSS #14
This Session is taught by two students, Charlie Wickham and Dominick Civitano. Charlie is a recent graduate from Iowa State University in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Industrial Design. He has been heavily involved in the Attractions Industry for 3 years working with IAAPA, ASTM F24 and more! He has years of experience with additive manufacturing design including a Master's level course and hands-on experience with a range of 3D printers from hundred dollar home printers to multi-million dollar industrial printers making parts from plastic, wood, and metal. Dominick is an incoming Junior at Purdue University studying Robotics Engineering Technology with a focus in Animatronics. He is about to begin an internship at Hasbro working with their animatronics team and in his spare time has been designing and 3D printing props and animated figures from pop culture for the past 7 years.
