Travel Restrictions Update for Puerto Rico as of October 17, 2020 ? The executive order (EO2020-077) will be in effect 17 October through Friday, November 13, 2020 - The executive order can be modified or extended, so double check the latest updates before making any plans. *** Correction October 20: Ferry service to Culebra is now operating for tourists and residents! ? Curfew is from 10pm until 5am ? Masks covering mouth & nose, as well as social distancing, are required in public - $100 fine for not wearing mask ?️ Beaches and Marinas are open 7 days/week. Masks required when not in the water. 6' minimum distance between groups on the beach ?️ Restaurants may be open 7 days/week at 55% capacity ? Bars and clubs remain closed ? Alcohol sales permitted 7 days/week until 10pm ? Stores/businesses and banks may be open 7 days/week at 55% capacity ?️ Casinos, gyms, and movie theaters may be open at 30% capacity ? Pools and common areas in hotels/resorts may be open at 30% capacity ⛴️ Ferry service to Vieques is limited to residents & emergency personnel. Tourist can travel via charted aircraft or private boat. ? Starting Monday, October 26 Public Transportation including AMA buses and Tren Urbano will resume operation ? El Yunque National Forest is open, and reservations are required for entry (available at Recreation.gov) ⚠️ Arriving travelers to SJU airport in San Juan require a travel declaration, negative COVID-19 molecular-based (PCR) test.
