Antoine Tisné : De la Nuit à L'Aurore for soprano saxophone and string orchestra
This work was inspired by a small painting that was above the composer's piano at his home in Paris; It was described by Tisné as being an "Initiative path" which leads ultimately to both a sense of understanding and mystery. The work is performed by Paul Wehage, soprano saxophone and the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Leos Svarovsky. The work may also be performed with a solo oboe.
