Reasons why Android Studio (Still) Sucks

As I am trying to insert a seekbar in my activity, android studio pukes all over my face by crashing in such a way that I can only kill it with the task manager... Please tell me if this error has solution. This is a clean install, using JDK 7, the version they suggest, 25ºC at 12PM, etc etc...
