Mental Omega 3.3.5 - Gladiator Challenge on Hard AI Difficulty
One of the newest challenges added in v3.3.5, the main feature of this challenge is global weapon disables (which become randomized after 5 instances) on your forces that lasts for 3 minutes each, with a 1 minute break time in between. It can either be ALL of your infantry, vehicles, static defenses or aircraft. For this reason, it is recommended to have a mixed defense and offense force for the least possible frustration when dealing with constant paradrops. Pacific Front works well on this challenge for the following reasons: - Norio, Rocketeers and Cryocopters make a good fast response team early on while you build your army (other factions can excel in this too but Rocketeers are available earlier and are cheaper, while Norio assist with vehicles and aircraft as soon as T3 is available) - The new Hyperion can help you and your ally (especially when they're AI) deal with T3 anti-structure aircraft like Kirovs - Battle Tortoises are hardly affected by the weapon disable because they are open-topped transports (infantry can fire out of the vehicle), and they're beefy enough to tank hits from the stolen tech defenders like Seitaad Players: Me - Pacific Front Blue Hard AI - United States Immune Oil Derricks and Minor Superweapons are enabled.
