DOOM 64 EX 'MEGA BOSS FIGHT' What the final level of D64 should have been.
I used god mode for this run through of Sentinels simply because I made the level so tough it would have likely have taken be 20+ attempts lol. This run basically show the sort of tactics needed to complete the level with the ammo available. The arena design, thick mist, dim lighting, and the upgraded 'Nightmare' version of the Mother Demon make her a far more frightening and challenging opponent. I found the original final boss of Doom64 to be rather lacking as an upgraded Unmaker could rip her to shreds within seconds. Not only that but the open arena made her homing attacks too powerful. So it was a bit of a lame fight. You either trashed her with the Unmaker. Or she would spam you with unavoidable homing attacks. This map gives the fight a bit more depth. No overpowered Unmaker to trash her. But plenty of cover to use tactic moves to avoid her attacks. Plus she's the Nightmare version so has double the HP.
