Creating a flac from a wav file (easy tutorial)

In the old days we made mp3's out of these files and loosing lots of digital information (and thus quality). On most (cheap) stereo installations you couldn't hear the difference. Nowadays with plenty of harddrive space and better audio equipment FLAC is becoming more and more popular. This video explains in simple terms how to convert your wav file to a flac file. You only need 3 files: Exact Audio Copy, Foobar and the Flac encoder. So it's okay. None of the program you download will trigger your anti virus program. Install the flac encoder first, then Foobar or Exact Audio Copy. Foobar is the encoding program that needs the flac encoder so it will be probably ask where the "Flac.exe" file is located (write this down when installing Flac, e.g. C:\Program Files\Flac or D:\Flac or wherever you like).
