Educational course “Atrial Fibrillation Ablation”
The course started in 2011 being the first educational project of Arrhythmia Department in the domain of Catheter-Based Methods of Atrial Fibrillation Treatment. About 95 specialists from Germany, Finland, Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan have participated in this course so far. The purpose of the course is to provide the students with contemporary ablation techniques and up-to-date information according to the level of their experience (participants may take either basic or advanced course). All the trainings include various kinds of hands-on workshops using simulators and WetLab providing surgical practice on pig heart models. Participants have a unique opportunity to observe practical aspects of pulmonary veins isolation or complex cases using CARTO® 3 EP Navigation System*.
