I wasn’t listening to anything while playing this but I was trying to channel a Fall 1971 Dark Star vibe. I used a Fender Precision American Original 60s Precision bass with a Boss DC-2w Dimension C pedal for modulation here and there, recorded into GarageBand on an iPad Pro through a Universal Audio Volt 276 interface.
