Average power bills will increase $29 a month

Effective today, the average monthly residential power bill will go up another 10%. Last night, the Public Utilities Commission approved the increase to the Levelized Energy Adjustment Clause fuel surcharge, citing soaring fuel prices and the growing fuel cost under-recovery by the Guam Power Authority.
