Final Fantasy IV: The After Years - Character / Boss Interactions (Final Boss)

READ ME BEFORE YOU COMMENT! All characters are level 99 for this run. Every charcter went against the boss with only themselves and Calca and Brina, since their dialog is last in priority and I needed some insurance. Due to the final phases Split attack, which does about 4k damage even at max levels, without apples, it is impossible for a few characters to completely solo. On top of that, during most of the dialog scenes, not everyone gets a turn if you have a full party. This is why I had to take the speaking people individualy. Most scenes only have 2 people speak, and some only 1. There is an oddity with the scene with the little Maened. Calca has priority over half the characters for some reason when meeting (but since two can speak here, it's not that much of an issue), and Golbez has NO dialog there at all. When you drag her along, it's back to normal priority (though Calca stays in the center position if he was before). Some scenes with NPCS have edits. Rosa & Ceodore were edited to join as one, as were Yang & Ursula, Kain & Golbez. These scenes will play out the same way I edited them if you bring both people into the fight anyhow. Palom and Porom share the same scene normally, as do Edward & Harley, Edge & the Fan Club, and Luca & the Dolls. Cecil is the only one to get a unique scene. I had completely forgotten there IS unique dialog just before the ending. I'm not going to concern myself with it. Still, I apologize for missing it. The order of the characters is as follows through every encounter (with few exceptions): Cecil, Rosa, Ceodore, Kain, Golbez, Yang, Ursula, Porom, Palom, Leonora, Rydia, Edward, Harley, Edge, Tsukinowa, Izayoi, Gekkou, Zangetsu, Cid, Luca. Calca and Brina are either first or last, depending on which was easier, as they were along for every fight. The music and sound effects are all re-edited back in, with the original recording effects kept silent (this is due to all the cutting, so it doesn't sound horrible when spliced together). Sound effects are absent in some parts as well. Occasionally, the original recording sound could not be salvaged without clashing with the added music track, so in that case I simply left it out. Apologies if the dialog goes by a little too fast; each line is only on screen for about 3 seconds. I'm a fast reader, plus this video is ALREADY on the long side. If you're having difficulty reading, pause is your friend. Each run took about 20-30 minutes. With 20 characters. Overall footage was around 12 hours.
