Shri Krishna Stuti | Kasturi tilakam | Anjali Kadri
Kastūrī-tilakam lalāṭa-paṭale Vakṣhah-sthale kaustubham Nāsāgre nava-mauktikam karatale veṇum kare kaṅkaṇam | Sarvāṅge harichandanam sulalitam kaṇṭhe cha muktāvalī Gopastrī pariveṣṭito vijayate Gopāla chūḍāmaṇih || kṛṣhṇo rakṣhatu mām jagatraya-guruh kṛṣhṇam namasyāmyaham kṛṣhṇe-nāmarashatravo vinihatāh kṛṣhṇāya tasmai namah | kṛṣhṇādeva samutthitam jagadidam kṛṣhṇasya dasyosmyaham kṛṣhṇe tiṣhṭhati sarvametad-akhilam he kṛṣhṇa rakṣhasva mām|| Meaning: Salutations to Shri Krishna who is adorned with the sacred marks of Kasturi (Musk) on His forehead and Kaustubha jewel on His chest. His nose is decorated with a Shining pearl, the palms are gently holding a flute, the hands are beautifully decorated with bracelets. His whole body is beautifully smeared with sandal paste and His neck is decorated with a necklace of pearls. He is surrounded by the cowherd woman and is Shining in amongst them as a jewel of Gopala (cowherd) on the Head. I bow to Lord Krishna, the guru of the entire universe. Salutations to that Lord Krishna who killed the demons - the enemies of the Gods. This world has originated from Him and rests on Him. I am His servant. O Lord Krishna! Please protect me. ------------------------------------------------------ Voice: Anjali Kadri
