Kenyas Ambassador to Pakistan Julius Bitok has today given full university scholarship through his Ambassador Julius Bitok Educational Foundation to Bernard Lagat a second year Jomo Kenyatta university student who dropped out due lack of fees. Lagat had scored a clean A in KCSE and was pursuing a Bsc in Mechanical Engineering degree. He had been hired to work as a houseboy after dropping from University . Ambs Bitok said his foundation will mentor Bernard and other students under his program . Ambs Bitok Foundation provides scholarship in secondary and university levels .Lagat comes from Kaptagat in Uasin Gishu county . His parents who are peasant farmers with 10 other children praised Ambs Bitok for assisting them .
