During the 2004-2005 UHL season I was the President of the Motor City Mechanics Hockey team outside of Detroit. The NHL was on strike so our owners hired Detroit Red Wings Derian Hatcher, Chris Chelios, Kris Draper, LA King Sean Avery and Ottawa Senator Bryan Smolinski Crazy but fun season.
