RVLock Keyless Basement Slam Latch Install & Mod (RV Living) 4K
Since we travel and live full time in our fifth wheel camper, we have to leave it in campgrounds when we go on adventures. We want to make sure everything in the RV is secure while we are gone. Now, we do with the more secure and easy to use keypad locks with key fob for our camper basement doors. We already had upgraded the Trailer front door with a new lock- now they are all keyed alike. One of the first upgrades we made to our Grand Design Solitude Fifth Wheel when we bought it over two years ago, was to add an RV Lock Keyless Entry System to our Front Door. It has worked flawlessly since then making it much easier to Lock and Unlock the RV without using keys. From the day I installed the Front Door RV Lock, I wished I had them for all our basement doors also. It is such a pain lock and unlock the basement door slam latches with a key every time we leave our RV. In this video I will show how I replaced the standard slam latches that come on our Grand Design Fifth Wheel and installed the RV Lock Keyless Slam Latches.
