Snow plow electrical connectors tips and preventative maintenance

Keep the plug covers in the glove box that way they will stay clean. (Also helps keep them a little more pliable when they are out of the cold therefore easier to install.) Keep the female pins (truck side connectors with Fisher in my case) Full of clean dielectric grease. Once in a while wipe off the excess grease that comes out and gets displaced by the pins when you connect the plugs. Be sure to install the plug covers immediately after removing the plow. The moment corrosion gets in there good luck with that you’ll be buying a new harness or playing fuck fuck when you are ready to plow.
