Although born in France, Angioma is currently living in Barcelona where he has become a regular DJ on line-ups in the citys vibrant club scene. Angioma is still early in his career and he joins AnalyticTrail having previously featured on Christian Smiths Tronic and Anja Schneider's Sous Music. AnalyticTrail label owner Markantonio helped pioneer techno in Italy, and has headlined clubs all over the world, along with featuring music on labels ranging from Drumcode to Second State and Intec. The original mix of Reverberate opens the EP with stabbing chords and fast-flowing percussion rhythms soon joined by dramatic vocal textures. Adding to the intensity of the original mix is the remix from Markantonio, whose harder remix of Reverberate has a hammering kick, plus throbbing synths that ramp up the tension. Closing the EP is the deep and jazzy Ostenious which has fluttering melodies layered amidst dark atmosphere and tough percussion. True to the classic techno sound of Detroit, this track fuses timeless elements with modern sound design.
