Bruce Campbell - Skippy

This cheerful tune was the signature tune for the weekly ITV children programme Seeing Sport, which ran for 4 years in the early 1960's at Monday teatime at 5 O'clock. It was introduced by Peter Lloyd who then went on to run British Lion Films at Shepperton studio. Bruce Campbell worked closely with Robert Farnon for many years and like Farnon was also a Canadian. Cambell in fact moved to Britain before Farnon. Robert Farnon is the conductor of the Danish State Radio Orchestra on this recording
