Having identified Hassan to be in Las Almas, Shepherd sends Ghost and Soap to link with the Mexican Special Forces known as Los Vaqueros to bring him in. The operation goes sideways when corrupt Mexican Army forces attack and pursue them. Shadow Company arrives on site via a gunship to bail them out, before proceeding to providing close air support to capture Hassan and defend against cartel forces attacking them.
