In 2003 he continued his studies in the integrated school Oriol Martorell and discovered his interest in composition. In 2012 he completed his baccalaureate studies in piano with honours with Xavier Pardo. That same year, he obtained the first position in the access test to the bachelor’s degree in composition at ESMUC (Barcelona), where he studied with Bernat Vivancos and Mauricio Sotelo. Parallel to his composition studies, he kept developing his piano skills with Xavier Barbeta and Xavier Pardo. In 2017, after he graduated with honors in his bachelor’s degree in composition, and following his interest in electronics, he started his master’s degree in Music Design in HKU focusing on the possibilities of integration between classical acoustic instruments and live electronics. In 2019 he was awarded with the 17th International Prize Joan Guinjoan from Barcelona, and shortly after obtained his master’s degree in composition. He’s part of the multidisciplinary dance collective Strange Strangers, where he composes, performs and assists technically. Together with dancers Alexandra Verschuuren and Danielle Huyghe, they performed in The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Poland, and were awarded with the Jury prize at 25Masdanza. He’s received masterclasses with Stefano Gervasoni, Sofia Gubaidulina, Mauro Lanza, Mauricio Rodríguez, Raphael Cëndo, Clara Maïda, Bryn Harrison, Kaija Saariaho and Ondrej Adámek. Also, his music has been played by ensemble BCN216 (Barcelona), Curious Chamber Players (Stockholm) and Insomnio Ensemble (Utrecht) amongst others.
