It could not get any easier... My neighbor has this big almond tree and the Cockies go crazy every Autumn. She hates it and hoses them down... to my advantage because I can get some great birds in flight shots. Not the greatest at this and I do struggle, but for what I got, I am pretty happy. A lot missed focus on the eye or head... but for the most part the bird is in focus and unless you are a snob, you can't be too upset. With my skill level, I should consider getting one of those new cameras with the A.I focus tracking, but where is the fun in that... My ISO wasn't that high but I ran the photos through DXO Prime and it improved them so much that without it, there was no point publishing these photos. That's how good it is. And of course I used Luminar Neo to edit. I was just invited to join the affiliation program for Luminar Neo. I don't think there is any promo discount, but they are always having a sale on... so if you want to test it out for free use my link here and support the channel...
