No bail petition yet from Arroyo
MANILA, Philippines - The camp of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has yet to file a bail petition on the plunder charge she is facing before the Sandiganbayan. Sandiganbayan spokesman Renato Bocar said the anti-graft court has yet to receive a petition for bail from Mrs. Arroyo. He said the Arroyo camp has filed a petition asking the court to allow Mrs. Arroyo to stay under hospital arrest at the Veterans' Memorial Medical Center.
