MacBook Pro A1278 No Power repairs
http://resetlab.co.za In this video, we had a MacBook Pro A1278 that does not Power. After disassembly, we started by measuring voltages at PPBUS_G3H which was normal at 12.6V. PP5V_5V was fluctuating, which usually indicates a short-to-ground, in my experience with this logic board, when it fails in this manner, C6213 which is on the PP5V_S3 power lines will be shorted, removing and replacing it, solves the problem, if you have a similar issue, please consider checking C6213 by removing it out of the circuit and then measure again to see if the short is gone. The repair process was successful.
