Flip Cart, Part Three. FREE PLANS

Free Plans for Drawers! https://freeimage.host/i/Jl6J96v ahhh, part three. today we are building the drawers and a few accessories for the flip cart. We have all this untapped storage inside of the flippy part and quite a lot of space between the legs. we will start building stuff in one minute. These are the specific things I am adding, hopefully my ideas help you to imagine what you would like to have more accessible in your shop, or, what you can shuffle around to make space for new toys and continue to build your woodworking skills. On the sander/planer cart, I am adding a sandpaper organizer, to get rid of this monstrosity and the tote of sand paper in my cabinet. It will adjustable shelves, and colums for each sander: orbital, square and mouse plus maybe a spot I can put a few of the belt sander papers. on the other side I am adding a spot to put my dremel and its bits. Im getting tired of putting it in and out of the cabinet, which happens quite often. underneath that I am adding a place for my squares and handsaw so I can begin the process of getting rid of this toolbox. The drawers will fit under my miter saw, and the base I plan to upcycle into a router table. other than the hydraulics not working, I feel like the toolbox is too mechanically and not woodworky. it has served me well. For my Drill Press and Bandsaw cart, I am adding a place to put a nicer forstner bit set (when I buy it) and get rid of my cheap set which floats around the top of my toolbox. where I play the "do I have that size or is it lost" game. it will also hold my old hole saws and my new ones. on the otherside I am adding a bottle holder. i enjoy these little sparkling apple juices, each time I upload a video I like to sip on one of these, and 14 bottles will last me quite a while.. And, we need to build the drawers. so, for the drawers I need them to do two things, not fall out when im flipping to the otherside, and I want to be able to access both drawers no matter which side is facing up. To achieve this, I first removed the face board from the side: they have been held in place this whole time because they fit so nicely. I measured that board and cut a strip of plywood for what will become the back of my drawer. i ripped my plywood with the grain, it leaves a cleaner cut and removes the risk of splintering out my edges remember, if you have two carts, you'll need four drawers, and its easier to create each piece while you have everything set up. cut your back to the correct fit inside your space. the outside board will be 1-1/2" longer to hide the sides of your flip  cart top. the sides will be cut 3/8" thinner than the back and the front, this is to allow a groove to be cut in the back and front, to allow a piece of quarter inch plywood to slide on top of the left side, and lock into the right side. stick your tape measure into drawer space until it bonks the dowel rod. mine is 10 " , if you are measuring to this board, you already have the front board deducted from your total length. take an additional 1/2" off to make sure the drawer has a little extra room and another 3/4" for the back thickness. with the front, back and sides cut, need to cut in a groove for the plywood into each board. set your table saw to one quarter of an inch at a height of quarter of an inch. make your first pass, bump the saw over
