Cities Skylines Console Build: Starting a new timber industry! | Roslyn 08

Welcome back to Roslyn! This episode starts out with figuring out a new highway entrance into the city in its newest tile. After tacking in a good-enough-for-now interchange, I level some terrain and expand the city’s north-south oriented streets for more residential development. The process is a bit painstaking to make sure the blocks within our grids remain perfectly squared off for ease of development. Then, it’s time for more Ultimate Fencing Simulator™ as the new residential neighborhoods take shape. Roads get upgraded once the layout is finalized, and new homes start coming in as another commercial center also takes shape with the name of Valleyview Square. After some more clean-up around Roslyn High, Fairfield Farm continues to build out with an animal pasture. With industrial demand to spare, I tape the forest by the mountain spring for a brand new lumber industry area, as well. Fencing and residential development continue, as does commercial expansion around Valleyview Square and along Factory Street. Finally, the episode closes out with some vanilla traffic management and stats checks.
