Dora, Jonassie and Daisy
Dora Emikotailaq Fraser and her brother and sister-in-law, Jonassie and Daisy Emikotailaq were in Montreal to visit their brother in hospital. Their brother, Johnny, died very peacefully on Saturday, April 26th while they were singing "How great thou art" to him in Inuktitut. All three attended St. Cuthbert, St. Hilda, and St Luke Anglican Church in Rosemont on Sunday the 27th. They sang Inuktitut hymns and preached together about Johnny's last hours and peace. The Gospel on sunday: jesus after his resurrection coming to the frightened and grieving disciples and saying "Peace be with you."
