Checking the average flatness of the table to the X Y travel. The base it made of 3 extruded plates running in the Y direction. I used shims to try and compensate for the error in the X Y travel. I made the travel of the the XY smaller using soft limits to keep from reaching the extreme limits of the travel. Perfection is not possible on a machine of this quality.
