Painting A 2001 Ford F-250 Superduty - Henry Is Gun Metal Grey Again!
5 gallons of product, 9 hour day and Kenny and I finally paint Henry! Using the wet on wet technique Kenny and I where able to spray the entire truck from black base coat to 3 coats of clear. The paint did get some trash in it and water from the air compressor but that will come out in the cut and buff portion of the process. One little run in the paint just under the FORD emblem on the tailgate and no lite areas that we have seen yet. The video takes you through the spray out process but doesn't show the 2 hours prior to spray out where we got everything ready to go like completing the new masking and the final wipe down. It was a lot of work for one day but very satisfying looking back on it now. The truck looks 100% better and finally looks like it should. As we continue the process and start putting it back together you will see how the details of the job really matter in the completed project. It has been a long road getting here and hopefully we can continue to reach these goals and get ever closer to completion and having Henry back on the road. Thank you for watching the video and for being a fan of the channel. We will see you soon!
