Memories of Hetalia (Music): Fields of Sunflowers (Russia's Theme)
I don't know why this one turned out so slow =/ I may go back and tweak certain parts that are still bugging me. This is Russia's theme, "Field of Sunflowers." I couldn't not make this song at least a little ominous (and part of this song was totally inspired by the music in that scene in World Series when little Lithuania meets little Russia). In the faster part, I imagined a horse-drawn carriage riding through a snowstorm in imperial Russia. Don't ask =/ RAMBLINGS: The character themes are the hardest to do! Because not only do I want them to sound equally good, but I'm trying to reflect the countries' music style and the time periods of their "memories" as well. I'm not an expert in world music, so it's hard! With this one I just experimented with a touch of Russian-esque style. I tried =/ The only instrument in my library labeled "Russian" was the balalaika (the guitar-type instrument you hear in this song).
