Gibson 335 figured - modern jazz tone
The gear that I used were: Gibson es335 (neck position, volume and tone at like 9), polytone mini-brute from the 80’s (with somewhat moderate settings) recorded with sm57 and r121 pair. Guitar pedals: dark glass compressor (only a touch), rat clone (no gain, only volume and tone set higher) and a tremolo pedal through a lehle parallel mixer (very subtle), a couple of parametric eq’s (surgically boosting some mids while cutting some highs and some lows), strymon ola chorus pedal (moderate setting), two delay pedals (boss dd-7 and strymon dig) set on different delay times with little feedback and gentle dry/wet setting, strymon blue sky for some ambiance.
