Докладчик, Дмитрий Цилевич Тема: “Optimal Decision-Making Architecture” Аннотация: Sequential Decision-Making is a process observed in many real-world scenarios, from hiring in big firms and general administrative decision-making to medical screenings and judicial processes. A characteristic feature of a Sequential Decision-Making process is its step-by-step structure: a certain case is evaluated at each stage of the system in a consecutive nature, where each stage independently decides whether to stop examination or pass it on to the next link in the chain, until reaching a final conclusion. We attempt to compare this process to its Parallel counterpart, as well as some additional intermediate structures, in order to propose an optimal architecture - with regard to the system’s general goal - in terms of the expected error and length of the process.
