It’s considered a true Hybrid because of its use of a wood key action and particularly their inclusion of a spruce soundboard powered by two Onkyo transducers. The piano uses an innovative 2nd Generation touch screen control that literally eliminates buttons from the user experience, while preserving an easy volume slider for the most basic control functions. The piano is built for commercial or residential use, and includes updates to the action which specifically increase its durability and realism. The sample in today’s video is the SK-EX “Classic” Piano settings with default Virtual Technician sound settings - just factory default settings. The playing sample is Bill Wither’s “Lovely Day”, a wonderfully fun tune to play on piano, and beautifully rendered here on the CA99.
