Icom IC-R30 vs a Icom IC-R8600 at FRS frequencies
This video does a comparison of the Icom IC-R30 vs a Icom IC-R8600 at Family Radio Service frequencies (~462.5 MHZ). I drove a three mile loop and stoped at various locations to transmit. Both devices were set for their maximum gain. The Icom IC-R8600 clearly out preformed the Icom IC-R30.
