Skyrim (mods) - My Load Order - October 2019
This is last month's load order, for comparison if you need it. Read the description below for my general guidelines that I use. Skyrim (mods) - Load Order Video - September 2019: https://youtu.be/A6L4sopb9Hs In general, I group my mods logically like this: 1. Anything the modder says needs to be high or at the top of the Load Order. (USSEP, Cutting Room floor, etc.) 2. Any quest changes. (Boethiah for Good Guys) 3. Voice/Audio files 4. Weather/Sky mods (HD Stars, Legendary Weathers) 5. Any game changes (AFT, Mighty Dragons, Free crafting, Unlimited Enchantments) 6. World Items edited/changed (Magical College of Winterhold, Severin Manor Tweaks) 7. World additions (Forgotten Dungeons, Unique Bridges, Lamp Posts, Cheat Room, Player homes) 8. Armor/weapon replacers (WIP/Test - BD UUNP Armor and Clothes) 9. Additonal Weapons/Armors (Thor's Hammer, Viking shields) 10. RSmith7 "No Generic" mods (No Generic Male Bandits, etc.) 11. Added NPCs (Wenches mods, Genesis mods) 12. NPC Replacers (Botox, Enhanced Atronachs, Female Mannequins) 13. Followers (Shenobi, Silla, Ciri, Sha) 14. Player Character mods (Usually Hair, body, teeth, eyes, presets, colors of skin and hair) 15. Skin Textures (Beauties of Skyrim) 16. Textures Landscape, etc. (Skyland, Graphics Pack, etc.) 17. Map Textures/Overhaul (A Quality world Map) 18. Some NPC Replacers (Seranahaolic, Elisif Replacer) - For some reason I have found a number of replacers or "Makeovers" that just work better down here. I can't explain it. 19. Patches/things the modder says should be low or at the bottom/things I found only worked at the bottom. (Alternate Start, TBBP Patch/Animations, XP32 Skeleton, More Females, Rich Merchants) Always try to use the modders' suggestion/recommendation as they should know the most about their mod. I hope this general guideline will be useful. Please be aware that you can see a few exceptions in my own load order.
