[4K HDR] Seoul Walking Chungmuro Printing Alley with the film industry in the 20th century

Most of the film companies that symbolized Chungmuro have long since left for Gangnam, but when they talk about Korean films, they still refer to it as 'Chungmuro'. Most of the films that enjoyed the golden age after the Korean War were made in Chungmuro. The establishment of a printing house in an alley in the Chungmuro area is closely related to the film industry. Since the Japanese colonial period, printing shops have been built around movie studios to shoot movie leaflets, and as the movie industry is booming, movie-related advertising agencies have also established themselves in Chungmuro. Three-wheeled motorcycles and motorbike porters called ‘Sambali’ are running around the printing alleys. The role of Sambali is to deliver the ordered paper to a printing shop in a narrow alley, or to move the finished printed matter to a tailor, a bookbinding shop, and the ordering party. Until the early 2000s, Chungmuro Printing Alley was a nightmare. Print shops that are open 24 hours, print shops that run all night, restaurants and bars that serve them. The lights of alley buildings in Chungmuro did not go out. Filmed: January 14, 2021, 1:30PM (pre-recorded) Weather: Sunny ? Temperature: -1℃ / 30℉
