SINGING MY SONG FOR THOMAS SANDERS! ("A Song for Thomas" by Annie Liang)
Hey there! A week ago, I posted a video of a very creatively named song I wrote for Thomas Sanders, "A Song For Thomas" (you can check it out here! https://youtu.be/dom9rNsyCX8). I rushed that video quite a bit because I wanted to publish it before I went to Thomas's merch launch event in NYC; that way, I could give him the link when I met him and he'd be able to listen to the song. I brought my ukulele because of a friend's insistence that there'd be a chance I could play the song for him at the event. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine what actually happened. I actually sang the song for him in person, and though I messed up quite a few times, Thomas being there while I sang the song I wrote for him made it a more meaningful, emotional (very emotional) rendition than the 26th take I did of the song at 11PM two days before the event. I'm so grateful to Thomas for asking for the music to be turned off, the photographer for filming the song (I combined the audio from that video with a video one of my friends took since it was much clearer), the security guards for asking the crowd's noise level to decrease, my friends for helping me not get lost/run over by cars in NYC, and the other people at the event for lending their ears to me. This amazing experience I had wouldn't have been possible without the kindness of everyone else there, and I am so thankful! That magical moment is something I will never forget. Subscribe to Thomas Sanders here! https://www.youtube.com/thomassanders My channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi9rMakO-2Qa6rPtercOhvw Subscribe to me for more songs and things in the future, and thanks for stopping by the chilly moon stop! I have no idea if anyone actually reads my rambling, long descriptions so let me know if you did by commenting "cool beans!"
