The drawings date from 1977 and 1978; the quotes from the mid-1970's. Many of the quotes and all of the original drawings that accompanied the quotes Eugene Martin organized in a special volume were accidentally lost in Washington D.C. in the early 1980's when someone borrowed the chapbook and misplaced it.
