TP-Link AX3000 AX Judder Issues - Quest 2 - Virtual Desktop
It is issue with TP-LINK AX3000 - see reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/jg0bge/trouble_with_wifi_6_ax_micro_stutters_virtual/ So i bought a TP-LINK AX3000 router thinking getting a 1200Mbps wifi link would make VD + Quest 2 games streaming more responsive. Side by side...the same AX3000 router. On your left it is in AX/Wifi6 mode (1200Mbps) which is meant to provide better latency and speed (lol). On your right same router but set to AC mode (866Mbps). If you watch the left side first. See the number of times it judders and see FPS jumps from 90 to low 70s. It happens every 5 to 15 seconds. Then watch the right side. It doesn't judder at all really and i was moving around even faster jsut to show how much smoother it is.
