Library of Virginia archives research coordinator Chris Kolbe identifies specific records that are useful in researching southern decorative arts of Virginia. County records including judgments and chancery records in addition to state records such as the records of the auditor of public accounts (particularly entry #655), capitol square data, and contingent fund (entry #139) are highlighted.
