Kitkat 4.4.2 Update Review | Samsung Galaxy S4
Updating to Kitkat 4.4.2 specially for Samsung galaxy devices.This update will make your phone like gun without bullets.So do not install kitkat 4.4.2 on your smartphone. Point 1 - Worst battery, battery is most important part of any phone so due to error mm-qcamera-daemon in Kitkat 4.4.2 your battery discharging rate increases to 24% ( tested). Point 2 - If you have already update so you cannot go back to Jellybean 4.3 because of Knox warranty 0*1. You cannot flash 4.3 via odin ( Your kernel will not work , sound error etc ) Point 3 - While playing YouTube videos, your phone has a issue explained in video. Point 4 - While playing games like Asphalt 8 , Ninja Saga , FIFA 2014 it force close and your progress is lost. Point 5 - In jellybean 4.3 you were having a option to Hide Apps in App drawer , but in this updates you do not have that option. Point 6 - Your benchmark score tells you that you lost 5000 to 6000. I tested on Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 JB was 18800 and with same apps , kitkat fresh update , it was 12241. It simply tells you that you are downgrading. I tested on Galaxy S4 (I9500/I9505), Sony Xperia Z1. . My opinion : A update is supposed to have improvements but the benchmark score is the best way to check and its simple. Do not follow the fashion and update to Kitkat 4.4.2 - Wait for a better update ( Android L / 4.4.x) , once you are in so you are trapped. In this review there is no doubt its totally genuine and authentic , believe me i have 2-3 days of research on internet.
