Emmanuel Mudiay Career High 30 Points Full Highlights (3/10/2016)

Emmanuel Mudiay has had a vaguely disappointing career up to this point, but let's not write him off. He's still younger RIGHT NOW than Buddy Hield was as a rookie, so at the very least we have to give him a couple more years before writing him off. Or we could write hm off right now and not have to worry about it anymore. Yeah. Yeah! Original description below: -- All those haters who said that Emmanuel Mudiay sucks are sure looking stupid right now, aren’t they? Claiming that he was a bust, that he can’t shoot, that advanced stats showed him to be the worst player in the league, that he’s actually 6 years older than his birth certificate states because record-keeping in the Congo is notoriously suspect, that he doesn’t even like Denver and wants to be traded to the Lakers. All those things that the haters were claiming, and now Mudi-All-Day has gone and scored 30, sending them back into the dark corners of the earth from which they emerged. Take that, haters. In a way, this performance is more noteworthy than Devin Booker’s 35 occurring in the same game. We know Booker can score. He’s shown the ability. Mudiay? He had shown some flashes of being able to put the ball in the hole, but not efficiently or consistently. Him scoring 30 on the percentages that he did is way out of character, and I’m impressed. I take back all the bad things I said about him, except for the one about him being the most detrimental player in the league. Even with this game, his -2.0 winshares are a far cry from Tony Wroten’s -0.8, much less Kobe’s -0.7. -- All clips property of the NBA. No copyright infringement is intended.
