The IBM "Data Migration Facility"! - Transferring files under DOS with the parallel port

IBM had a mechanism, the "Data Migration Facility" that was used to send files from a PC that had a 5-1/4" diskette drive to an IBM PS/2 using the new bi-directional parallel port. Other companies modernized the concept further - maybe it can be adapted to a sending system with USB ports.
