BRCT marks World Alzheimer’s Day
World Alzheimer’s Day is recognised each year on the 21st September, with the aim to raise awareness for the impact the disease has on many peoples lives all across the World. Blackburn Rovers Community Trust offers support for people living with Alzheimer’s and their families through a variety of different projects and initiatives, including our Remember the Rovers programme. Two of those people are Alan and his cousin, Stuart. Stuart is currently living with Alzheimer’s and he has found coming to Remember the Rovers with Alan beneficial in multiple different ways, both personally and for his family.
